Level 1 Clownfish - 141020

Level 1 - Intro to Water Skills
Clownfish (Ages 3 - 5 years)
This is a Preschool Level Class.

This class orients participants and teaches them elementary swimming skills. Skills being taught include submersion of face, breath control, supported floating on front and back, basic swimming techniques and water safety skills.

Level 2 - Fundamental Aquatic Skills*
Jelly Fish (Ages 3 - 5 years)
This is a Preschool Level Class.

This class builds on level one skills, including teaching floats, stoke motions, glides, and beginning to lay foundation for independence of those skills. Other skills include submersion and retrieval of objects underwater independently, kicking, combination of stroke on front and back with support, and water safety skills.

Stingray (Ages 6 years and older)
*Must have passed or shown competency in Level 3 Swordfish skills or be of appropriate age.

Class is designed to introduce independent swimming skills. Skills being taught include deep water skills, unsupported floating on front and back, rhythmic breathing, kicking, combined strokes on front and back independently, other swimming techniques and water safety skills.

Level 3 Swordfish - 141040

Level 3 - Stroke Development*
Swordfish (Ages 4 and 5 years)
This is a Preschool Level Class.

This class continues to build on skills from level one and two. In this level, the student will begin to float independently for a variety of different floating techniques, combine strokes with kicks independently, treading water fundamentals, and water safety skills.

Shark (Ages 6 years and older)
*Must have passed or shown competency in Level 2 Stingray skills.

Class is designed to develop independent swimming skills. Skills being taught include jumping into deep water, rules of safe diving, combined stroke on front and back, rotary breathing, treading water, diving into deep water, fundamentals of elementary back stroke and water safety skills.
