Clay Creations - 453602

This class will give the younger generation an opportunity to experience the tactile qualities of clay. Students will learn how to hand build with clay through pinch, coil, and slab construction. The finished products will be fired in an electric kiln and then the students will decorate them with glaze which is non-toxic and food safe. All materials will be provided. Parent may need to help the child depending on the child's ability. 4 week class.

Pottery Labs Thurs - 453650

This lab is for the beginner, intermediate, or advanced student who wants extra time to work on class projects or just work on special projects of their own. It is a creative session with potters of a wide range of experiences from which to learn. The instructor will be available to assist students with ideas and guidance but will not be teaching. Students must own their own tools. As a courtesy to the students clay may be purchased from the instructor. Prerequisite: Beginning Pottery or consent of the instructor. Note: All glazing materials are non-toxic, food safe, and contain no lead. 8 week class.
- Clay, glazing, and ?ring - $17 per 25 lbs.
- $10 discount for an individual registered for a Pottery Lab and any other concurrent Pottery Class.
Students wishing to have more time in the pottery studio who cannot commit to the full eight weeks of Pottery Lab may come during Pottery Lab times by purchasing Drop In time for $15. In order to utilize this service, patrons must be registered in a class or have instructor permission.
