CSI Beginning and Intermediate - 455114

Beginning CSI students will learn how to examine the physical details that lay beneath the surface of a crime scene. Working in our Specialized TechStars lab, students will develop ultra sensitive observation skills and learn how to create customized images of the suspects using state of the art facial fitting software. Armed with this knowledge, they will ultimately solve the biggest crime case of their career and begin their adventure of becoming a full-fledged TechStart Crime Scene Investigator!
Then, take your investigation skills to the next level with Intermediate CSI. Students will advance their CSI skills in this action packed class. We will hone our skills using UV lights to gather evidence, examining evidence with chromatography, carrying out fin-gerprint analysis, discovering the role of DNA left at a crime scene, and much more. Working in our specialized TechStars Lab, stu-dents will be able to solve the crime scene faster than Sherlock Holmes!

CSI Hollywood Heist - 455115

A scandal in the Hollywood Hills. High profile victims - and suspects. How will the world recover from this schock? Most important-ly, who will solve this heinous crime? Use your investigative thinking to dive into the middle of the action and find the perpetrator in Hollywood. Utilizing evidence found at the scene of the crime, facial fitting software, DNA and fingerprint analysis, and a myriad of other scientific processes, we will uncover the truth behind the act and place our team in the CSI Hall of Fame! Junior Engineering - 455116

Explore basic engineering concepts by building simple machines from LEGO Dacta Kits. Different kits are used for each lesson, developing concepts of structures, levers, wheels, gears, and pulleys through construction of LEGO plans. Your students will work in teams of two as they exercise their understanding with creative challenges to solve, and learn to work with others. Projects include rotating machines, cars, even a dinosaur and an amusement park ride! Get those young ones inspired early in the engineering game with this hands-on camp!

Spybots Secret Agents & GeoCac - 455119

Has your student ever wanted to be a spy? Do they have an affinity for James Bond or want to work with the bomb-defusing robots of the military? Or maybe theyve seen Big Hero Six and want to have and have their own robots to complete missions. With the combination of Spybots and Mindstorms Robotics, students will have the chance to experience all of the above. They will start out with building their Spybots, and then controlling the bots with remote controls around the game board to complete missions as directed by the computer program. Then, let students explore the neighborhood by going on a great adventure with worldwide GeoCaching community scavenger hunt. Small groups only 6 to 9 students. Enroll while there is still room!

8 & under: 50 meter swim, 1.35 mile bike, 1/2 mile run
9-10 years: 100 meter swim, 2.7 mile bike, 1 mile run
11-12 years: 150 meter swim, 4 mile bike, 1 mile run
