CSI Beginning and Intermediate - 455114

Beginning CSI students will learn how to examine the physical details that lay beneath the surface of a crime scene. Working in our Specialized TechStars lab, students will develop ultra sensitive observation skills and learn how to create customized images of the suspects using state of the art facial fitting software. Armed with this knowledge, they will ultimately solve the biggest crime case of their career and begin their adventure of becoming a full-fledged TechStart Crime Scene Investigator!
Then, take your investigation skills to the next level with Intermediate CSI. Students will advance their CSI skills in this action packed class. We will hone our skills using UV lights to gather evidence, examining evidence with chromatography, carrying out fin-gerprint analysis, discovering the role of DNA left at a crime scene, and much more. Working in our specialized TechStars Lab, stu-dents will be able to solve the crime scene faster than Sherlock Holmes!

Green Screen and Stop-Action M - 455113

Have you ever wanted to be a movie producer? What about making your favorite stories and dreams come to life on-screen? In this fun introductory-level filmmaking class, you will learn the basic of technological film production with green screen and stop-action animation. Climb Mount Everest, swim the depths of the ocean, or battle dinosaurs! Using a green screen and special photo-editing techniques, you will venture into real or imaginary locations and film the trip to share with friends. For both parts of this camp, you will become the writers, directors, actors, animators, special effects creators, and editors of your own movie production. From story-boarding to filming, you will make all of the creative & technical decisions. Stop-action animation will include shooting individual scenes with your own characters and scenery moving ever so slightly per scene to form a full feature. So come bring your imagina-tion to life and present it on the big screen!

Spybots Secret Agents & GeoCac - 455119

Has your student ever wanted to be a spy? Do they have an affinity for James Bond or want to work with the bomb-defusing robots of the military? Or maybe theyve seen Big Hero Six and want to have and have their own robots to complete missions. With the combination of Spybots and Mindstorms Robotics, students will have the chance to experience all of the above. They will start out with building their Spybots, and then controlling the bots with remote controls around the game board to complete missions as directed by the computer program. Then, let students explore the neighborhood by going on a great adventure with worldwide GeoCaching community scavenger hunt. Small groups only 6 to 9 students. Enroll while there is still room!
